Funny as I remember former Presidents always referred to as such..Former President Clinton and such. So much so that when they started saying just President..it made me stop and pay attention..former President was always used
Okay. Does any one say President Obama in 2021? Serious question. I find it funny to call someone by their former title on a normal occasion. Under the circumstances of the 2020 presidential elections, I find it respectful to refer to Trump as President because we all know who won.
Don't government officials normally retain their highest title, even after leaving office?

Same here.
Don’t be a buzz-kill.
But we gotta keep grounded. Context is key.

They do, actually.
We just don't cause we see the bullshit.
What we do is deliberate. What they do is traditionally habitual.
Yes.
Chief Custodian Smith here, yes, we do!
I see your nice handshake there......
I didn’t say it wasn’t.
And my comment is still true, your statement doesn’t make his handshake disappear.
