Really? I saw several of these and they were changed. Maybe they changed them back? They were like this, but it may have only been temporary so you probably missed the window to see them.
I hate to be the possible bearer of bad news, but the images may have not loaded in on your device is all...
Then again, why is Grassley's still gray for me if it is just a Twitter/Device error?
Strange, to say the least. I'm inclined to believe it did happen, but I doubt we'll be able to figure out what it means, unfortunately.
It sounds like you need to check your device. It is likely having an issue. You're assuming everyone's devices are the problem when it sounds like it's just that you missed your chance or you have a problem with your device. That is the more logical answer.
Seeing the correct banners with military guys, smoke, helicopters shooting off flares, etc. would indicate there is no issue on my end.
Again, Grassley is still gray for me, so that indicates this did happen in some capacity. I know he is a little slow on the draw when it comes to the internet, so he probably didn't get a memo to change it back if there was some operation going on.
I'm a little confused. I thought you said you didn't see the changed banners that others saw. I assume you missed your window then or you have a problem with your device. Or are you saying you did see them like most people did? Because if you didn't you likely just missed it. Too bad for you.
Probably true.
It’s not a device this is confirmed all over the place. they change them and then change them back in Many cases. I don’t report to know what it means but its legit.
I know it's legit. I saw it with my own eyes. The other commenter seemed to saying it wasn't. That the banners hadn't been changed. I was saying that the banners legit changed. And it had sounded like he was saying they didn't. But his wording is a little confusing.
At first glance of the picture above, I'd say they were indicating how entrenched they still were. Red means operations are still not complete. Blue is that they are sitting ready after a complete mission. Gray means they had no resistance whatsoever, or they are now in hiding.
The different tones of blue are probably because they weren't given a standard # code for the color. They just thought, "blue is blue" and put it up.
I'm basing this off nothing at all, other than what I would do if told to give comms over Twitter banners.
The U.S. Marines page turned red before the whole picture appeared. I guess it's related to a slow connection.See for yourself at Wayback Machine. The archived page loads really slowly.
