Yes you are right.
I was left and hated myself until sometime in my thirties, then gradually saw through the programming. I'm not very quick-of-thinking. Lots of examples set to me by more balanced people helped. So happy to be here with you guys now.
I love engaging with lefties. Many times I end up laughing in tears at their idiocy.
"So you believe and share all the same ideas as the billionaires that own the media? Weird, I didn't think you people trusted rich whiteys. Aren't Bill Gates (MSNBC), Ted Turner (CNN), and Rupert Murdoch (FOX) all billionaire white guys?"
For me, I was not taught to love myself. I am autistic and had serious self worth issues through being very different and very uncoordinated. If you feel you can't compete, you have set rules for equal outcome and hate and punish anyone who doesn't work by your rules. My parents were heavily indoctrinated. I didn't know any history and was only exposed to left wing ideas.
Classic stuff and painful to change from. Yuri Bezmenov would have given up on me. But I pulled myself out, mostly out on my own with logic.
My lefty partner is still stuck in that angry place where she only trusts big government to make things right. She, against the evidence, doesn't believe in evil in high places.
They really are miserable bastards.
