2 +2 = whatever you want or else you're racist. Intelligence is gone in these United States.

Lol. As a math major and someone who roomed with a literal genius that was getting his PhD in math I am here to tell you firsthand from the world of math majors.
Say fucking good bye to anyone knowing math because no on is going to teach it. I was thinking about stopping at my b.s and teaching specifically because I figured I could get around a lot of this bullshit because it is... Like the article says objective. But I guess not!
This cracks me up.
There are some problems that have different and appropriate ways to solve them but that is not going to apply for any kid before calculus 1.
Arithmetic, trig, geometry, algebra, calculus all pretty much rely not at all on intuition, but on literally grasping the concept of what you are doing, and executing a series of logical operations to find the answer to a problem.
If you have 1/(1-x) + 1/√3x= 3
You HAVE to do that in a particular way, that makes sense to figure out what x is. Like it can be done but you must do it in only 1 way. There is no other choice. And this is the exact problem I can see some shitter not wanting to do because hey haven't paid attention in math for 2 years and need to go all the way back to 1/3 + 2/6 = x level. And then the parents screaming racis' because they create such a shitty home environment for their kid they can't study after school even if they wanted to.
Fuck 'em - I ain't teaching, no more math for nobody. Good luck society.
I got my chemical engineering degree about 18 years ago. The professor teaching process control decided not to teach Laplace transforms because some students couldn'tt handle it I confess I was one of those. Sounds like things have totally fallen off the rails. I just don't want to drive on any Bridges that these students are going to be building in the future, CAD or no CAD. That's kind of a facetious remark because this is designed to ensure a supply of unskilled labor in a market where automation is going to be dominant. It sounds like criminal neglect to me.
