I use encapsulated animal organs (kidney, liver, spleen, lung, bone, heart, etc), cod liver oil and whole fish eggs and finally for B vitamins, nutritional yeast. If you buy synthetic B vitamins, make sure they are methylated. Sea kelp for iodine and to balance the antinutrients from cruciferous consumption.
You should avoid synthetic multivitamins. If you're absolutely going to use them, I like Thorn products and Pure Encapsulations.
You can find food-based multi-vitamins. Standard Process has been in the food-based medicine game for a while. We love their ox bile for digestion of fats, gallbladder or not. I am not sure if they make a multivitamin.
Make sure your vitamin C comes from cherries or something and not ascorbic acid.
Dr. Berg on Youtube can school you on vitamins and minerals and all of that. You'll learn SO MUCH.
