Would not suprise me if this doesn't move the needle. Also would not be surprised if the queen passes soon too as a result of the loss. They were purportedly very close, and such a lengthy relationship now being lost will put significantly high stress on an rather elderly woman.
My Wife turned on the news for the first time in weeks to hear the headlines, realised it was going to be all about Phillip, waited for about ten min, then turned it off. Shes a royalist as well, and her main thoughts around it are about the queen and if/how she will cope.
I personally could not care less if the boiling of them burned, but i also believe strongly if you dont have anything nice to say about the dead, don't say anything. It is not our place to judge (especially if someone isn't around to defend themselves). It is God's right and privilege to do that. So i will hold my tongue on this poi t from here on. Just remember, this is probably one of many royal dominoes that could crumble and fall.
