That's what we had here. Our elected bodies (as much as you can call anything elected anymore) had all put the kabosh on mask mandates and then unelected cOuNtY hEaLtH oFfIcIaLs issued dictates that somehow overruled elected assemblies. Still haven't quite figured that one out, but by now a large margin of people have seen through it.
