So the Mexicans were moving Highly radioactive cargo in a Toyota Hilux. Most other nations would convoy it while protected by Heavily armed Security Forces.

Since it appears to have been a small container. It didn’t then need to be an elaborate convoy. Just like 3 cars. 2 Escorts and the vehicle carrying the package.

From what the article indicated. This has happened twice before. With this time making 3. Carjackers ending up in possession of highly radioactive elements.
