My daughter went to the grocery store without her mask today for the first time. She said it felt like breaking out of prison.
? DEM PANIC ?
We all reach that precipice at different times. Fear of being confronted while with small children held her back. But that's where my continued nudging slowly worked. Taking a stand and fighting back is how we all will ensure that our children and grandchildren have a free country to grow up in.
I should also clarify that this is in PA where most of the idiots wear masks outside. So this is a big deal.
I don't wear one any more. Yesterday: Ace Hardware - all the young employees had theirs on their chins when I walked in. If they saw someone wearing a mask, they'd pull theirs up. They left them down with me.
At Publix, I had a couple and a Karen take evasive maneuvers to get or stay away from me. Walked right past two managers who totally ignored me. I was the ONLY one in the entire busy store without a mask. And this is the nearest Publix to a really red rural area. Last time I went in, there were 2 of us. People are SO scared right now!
