If it’s not coming from his official “statement” website (I forget the domain of it) then it isn’t official. It could be an early leak though. But until you’re able to find it elsewhere it’s not real.

But there's still no link in the article to his statement, just a quote copy-pasted from somewhere.

If I've learned one thing these last few years, it's to always spelunk up to the primary source. Without it it's no better than "Sources say..."
