Just haven’t been able to see the angle here. There’s going to be a lot of smart, angry people looking for someone to blame when the bodies start stacking up.

100%. Marxists only need dependent sheep to get to power. Once they have it, they can gain nothing from their supporters, and only risk the supporters initiating a power struggle (think Trotsky)
