What I don't get is how the CGI in most of these professional music videos has become utter shit. It used to be just the songs and artists. Now independent artists do way better cgi in their videos than these music studios. That lil nas video is not just awful. It looks horrible. I've noticed that happening a lot with the music industry. I've seen better graphics in the original Star Trek series than these music videos lately.
Because the entertainment industry no longer hires on merit. It was always a lot of nepotism, but talent and skill still did count, especially for technical positions. Now with diversity hiring and wokeness skill is the last consideration for a job even in the technical fields.
WTF happened to Nas? He went from breakout hip hop/country duets with Billy Ray Cyrus to getting ass-rammed by Satan in some poorly made unwatchable CGI shit fest of a video.

Jonathan kleck does a good job breaking down Lil Nas x as well.
