... I mean ... some things add up every now and then. Especially now that they're selling it again due to popular demand and vaccines are abundant.

If you're going to McDonalds and ordering the Hi-C Orange drink in order to get your vitamin C... you've got bigger problems.
This requires at least 10 large steps back to look at the bigger picture. :>(
Going to expand on this further as you seem to be unaware ... the whole "Sea Salt" craze started about 10 years ago and reached many mass food producers. Sea Salt isn't iodized ... what does iodine do for you? Look it up, this shit has been going on for years.
Eh, "good" sea salt does contain iodine- fleur de sel, sel gris, himalayan pink. Not the commercial 'sea salt' (evaporated seawater). The questionable part, even with engineered hyper-iodized salt, is how much of the iodine is absorbed by the body. You're better off with seafood, dairy and eggs as a primary source, since the iodine is more bioavailable (potassium iodide or iodotyrosine vs. sodium iodide). Kind of like iron- you get most of it from meat, contradicting what your mama told you about spinach (bioavailable FE2+ vs. stable FE3).
The health benefit from sea salt is because it's not pure sodium chloride- the salty flavor comes from sodium, calcium and magnesium chlorides and sulfates, reducing the overall sodium intake and limiting the sodium imbalance in western diets.
Hmm...Himalayan salt has minerals, but no iodine either.
Haines has 'iodized' sea salt.
Daily recommended dose ... just saying ... it's back.
C'mon man...
one of the best hangover cures in the biz.
Yep. Filet-O-Fish, fries and orange drink. I don't drink anymore to get hangovers, and discovered I have celiac, so no more needing the cure for me.
Wouldn't it be cheaper per litre (and more enjoyable) to buy fresh orange juice from a supermarket rather than drinking that McDonald's poison?
solid point ... they keep adding up
I really hope this is a non flaired shit post.
That food is going to kill you long before the lost "vitamin c". Ffs.
When I used to eat ant McD's, I looked forward to this Hi-C orange drank.
Ok...poo... please tell me that's an autocorrect word ?
They still had real orange juice for sale. Not seeing the point
Devils advocate, but most of the ((coke)) soda fountains in my AO that had Hi-C replaced substituted its slot with some shitty rotating Fuze tea flavor. IIRC, Woka Cola had marked a few brands they were discontinuing or cutting back on and Fuze was one of their bottom feeders. It may be just a business decision- Hi-C sold better.
High C orange = kids on crack
I seent it !
