I don’t drink Woka Cola.
For being so woke today, how does Coke explain the "token black guy" in the 1971 ad? They're not as woke as they like us to think they are.
Qinkydink, I was just thinking about this commercial this week. Remember the Indian crying one about pollution too?
Yes I do!
I knew it people had smaller hands in 1971.
No, the bottles of coke were just bigger back then.

My brother In Law drives for Coke. He said the notes that are left on his truck are unbelievable.

I was 12 when that commercial aired. I remember singing that song along with the commercial every time it came on.
Never thought I would be boycotting Coke. I really miss my Sprite.
So, we were both in middle school at the same time.
I remember that it became a full song and played on the radio. Brilliant marketing.
Of course, they haven't been the same since the 'New Coke' debacle. And now I can't get that song out of my head...
yes but if I try to be 'less white' then I'll be accused of appropriating someone else's culture. can't win with these lunatics.
I thought less white means to bow down to non whites shine their shoes tell them theyre special and what you build for your progeny give to them.
Golly Gee Willickers this really tans my hide. Those knuckheads are up to no diddly good.

What happened to this company.
Anyone know where to find the list of 100 companies that also signed the letter in the failing NY Times?
1971 was about being “less white” too. I was a kid and I’m a minority and I thought it was wierd.
