Wow!
What exactly can't you say or communicate without swearing?
It doesn't matter, it's my first amendment right. That's like asking what reason should I not own a gun.
Free speech does not need to be unlimited speech. We are definitely at the point where there needs to be some place adults can talk reasonably about issues in a way that has broad appeal and doesn't distract from the message. We can always post the content here and then call each faggots all we want.
We all know internet history for how the arms race plays out. Users will use other ways to go around the banned words by altering the text, using emoji, and using other unicode text characters. If the website wants to continue censoring, they ultimately implement functionality for users to report other users. It’s up to the website to review the reports and decide what to censor.
And they should do this. Voat was a mess, with tons of 'edgy' people using words 'because they can' that made them look like racist/sexist idiots.
There needs to be a minimum of decorum.
I totally get that. But, what if my city suddenly tells me I can't carry a gun. Isn't it my right to do so? I support Lindell in all things except that. I know if suddenly someone was telling me I couldn't own or talk about my guns, I'd be vocal, and you would be too. I don't know why this should be any different.
1A = 2A
f word, c word, n word, taking God's name in vain.
When did a company become above my rights?
If A company is under A country, they follow the Countries laws. Let's see you work that same logic out in others.
Does it stop our ability to criticize certain people, ideas? If not, it doesn't hurt free speech. When it inhibits your ability to fight back, that's where the problem is.
"Get the fuck off my property"
"You cannot take my fucking weapons"
"I've had enough of this 'government' shit"
"Nancy Pelosi is a cunt"
This ??There are a lot of folks that could improve their vocabulary. It too easy to punctuate with f bombs. I didn’t use it for a couple of years but it has made a return, big time.
Fuck you. - which is precisely what I'm going to post first and get it right out of the way.
