Why would they not inject the total amount? I've never gotten a shot where the doc or nurse squirted out the last of it like that. Plus it looked like quite a bit. It would seem that if he for some reason was supposed to get a smaller dose, she would only have filled the syringe with the exact amount he was supposed to get, rather than overfilling and they squirting the rest out. Why wouldn't she just put the syringe in a sharp safe with whatever liquid remained in it rather than squirting it out on the ground? Doesn't seem like SOP to me.
