What legal reasons? Is it possible he is saying he can't run in 2024 because he already won 2 times? I guess we will learn at a later date. Future will prove the past

Technically he can’t run again in 2024 because you can only have two terms... maybe by then we can change the laws and allow Trump a third term because of the bullshit he had to endure during his first term.
And 2nd term!
I fucking love Trump and of course, want to see him back in office (publically as a sovereign power), but I don't think it's prudent on principle alone to fuck with our two-term limit.
Citing a temporary issue for a permanent change in the legal framework of the POTUS sounds like how the left uses COVID to remove freedoms now.
I'm not saying I'm right and someone could probably prove me wrong legally but it's just my inclination.
I agree. I think it could be a prime opportunity to however create a law for term limits all the way around. Also to create laws that force everyone to have an open door to their finances during their terms.
Sorry, you're wrong. Trump for life. It's the very least that we patriots, and the Nation, deserve.
There, that's settled :)
actually if he takes over now he could run again, it wouldnt be the first time a president has done "three" terms with the technicality of them taking over a term of another president not being a full term
Well, the language is 10 years. So, if he could not formally be installed until Jan 20 2023, he could still run in 2024 and get all 10 years worth. Problem - not sure US can survive 2 years of biden/harris.
thanks for the correction as i was unsure of the wording
