Canada declaring Martial Law would be a good way to destabilize Canada. You’ll have people making a run for the border into either the lower 48 or Alaska. Before they can lock down the border.

Not to mention the Economic effects that would be felt south of the border. A sensible move for the DOD would be to preposition Troops on the Canadian Border. Because it’s likely foreign influence would quickly makes its presence felt in Canada.
Though the Canadian Military in its present form would struggle dealing with policing the country under a Martial Law scenario. Too few bodies to go around and too much Space to police. Meaning Trudeau would need to seek Foreign Assistance to have any hope of locking down anywhere outside a handful of urban centers.
The entire thing though is unlikely. Trudeau is at heart a coward. So it’d be unlikely he’d wade into a Political Hellstorm like that willingly without guarantees of his safety and I doubt there’s a few Million Chinese Ground Troops sitting in Underground bunkers in Canada to guarantee that safety. Despite claims online.

Ontario Police are rejecting tyranny. Basically premier Doug Ford told police to stop and search anyone at any time they want for any reason. Police told him no and refused to enforce tyranny. Now Ford is losing grip on the province, he will need intervention from the Federal Government if he wants to keep this going.

I had checked and while Roger's was hardest hit ALL carriers saw outages in Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto areas primarily.
