You're better off without them in the long run. I'm older but also surrounded by blue (although in a red state thank God). We are strongly considering moving because I don't want my kids getting brainwashed. With that said, someone has to stay and fight their narrative.
Oof. That's always been my motto: "Buck up and deal with it". I'm sure I'd have "dEpReSsIoN" by their standards too (am college student), but you don't see me complaining either. The worst part is that most of them just wanna use it as a crutch and an excuse to be the failure that they already are.
yea I've been steadily losing faith in the medical field for YEARS, way before the coof and even longer before I stumbled across all of this.
My dad's the same way. He's got that genetic dEpReSsIoN stuff, hated his job and was miserable for 20 years (everything's since been completely turned around in the last year, we thank God for that), but he never complained. He just dealt with it. You know, what used to be called 'normal'
Yeah I'm seriously scared for my daughter when she gets to school age. I'm already looking into homeschooling and finding the best ways to teach her life skills. I have a couple more years to really find the best way. But with everything thats been going on I'm starting to feel like it will be my only option.
One of my lady friends who also lives in a blue area says the same thing. She says her friends are all just clones of each other repeating the same crap
We all go through some form of depression throughout our lives, it’s part of the human condition. I’d say the question is, what is the opposite of ‘depression’ ? Is it just not-depressed? Or is it Happiness?
If you think about it, how can one be ‘happy’ when you do not understand sadness?

Ya I think the best way to go through life at this point is "everything is a scam until proven otherwise"
Try a 'Dopamine Fast' for a day
They were taught they are victims. That crutch was propped up under them from a very young age im sure.
Sad. it really is. Reminds me why the nazis pushed the Hitler Youth program so hard...

Well, that's the point after all. Carbon copied clones that can't think for themselves.
Good for you!
