We’ve all watched something on TV or heard some horror story & thought, “oh thank God that would never happen to me”, or “I’d never last a day in jail”, and we’ve all thought at some time “that happens to other people but would never happen to me.” One thing we’ve learned over the last 5 years, or if we haven’t learned it we better damn sure take a moment to get it through our heads is that anything is possible and anything can & will happen to us. Doesn’t matter if we’re fine, upstanding, law-abiding citizens going about our business or not. “There but for the grace of God go I” is most certainly now “that just might be me next week”. I’m sure Derek Chauvin never thought he’d be doing his job one day and convicted of manslaughter on his way to prison the next. Kyle Rittenhouse probably never thought he’d be in AP History class one day and behind bars for murder the next. Name any person: Flynn, Roger Stone, George Zimmerman, the list goes on. Worst nightmares can turn into reality for any one of us with a dirty FBI, police departments afraid to do their jobs, corrupt justice system, mockingbird media with an agenda to amplify a false narrative and hell-bent on destroying lives with no regard for the truth, and a vindictive political mob bought off by Soros et.al. Good people are being metaphorically beaten into submission with a grudge stick. Any one of us could be next. So what do we do? I have no idea, but it just dawned on me that the unimaginable can become not only the imaginable but the reality in these crazy times. I’m holding the line and I have faith in God and faith in the Plan and the military and the white hats, but these are dangerous times frens. For the first time in my life I have an inkling of how the founding fathers must have felt during the Revolution. I also know that the silent majority is a whole lot bigger than the enemy, but if this goes on much longer I fear that history will repeat itself and the simmering will boil over.
