Where does it say pope in the Bible?
Where in the Bible did Christ give primacy to Peter? Matthew 16:18 is the verse let's look at it
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter (Πέτρος), and upon this rock (πέτρᾳ) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 16:16-18
Concordance of Petra and petros
4073 pétra (a feminine noun) – "a mass of connected rock," which is distinct from 4074 (Pétros) which is "a detached stone or boulder"
One is like a foundation stone ( petra, rock) and the other is a building stone ( Petros, Peter).
Jesus asked in verse 15 "He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?"
The reply Peter gave was the Son of God, upon this statement that Jesus was the Son of God is the foundation of the church. Peter is a building stone being built upon the foundation.
To recap the rock that Christ built his church on is the fact he is the Son of God! Not Peter, Peter is not the rock!
So it was poetic wordplay from Jesus
On the laws of hermeneutics we have to interpret scripture with scripture. So here are a few verses that support the claims I have made, there are others if you care to look on the internet.
1 Peter 1:1
Peter an apostle of Jesus Christ
Here Peter is an apostle not pontifex maximus, Peter the rock or the head apostle, he is equal to the others.
Rev 21:14.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Here we have 12 equal portions one for each apostles. Peter was equal to the others
Matthew 19:27
Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel
Here each apostle has a throne, showing equality amongst them.
1 Peter 2:6
Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,
"Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."
Here we have Peter saying that God has made Jesus the chief cornerstone.
There are no verses that support the claim that Jesus built his church on Peter.
There was a Petrine church in Rome bit it was heavily persecuted by Romans. Constantine came along hundreds of years later with no succession from Peter and changed his position of Roman Emperor to the office of the Pope.
They then found a loophole in scripture to exploit Christianity for their own benefit. On the backs of this is countless genocides, persecutions, tortures, child abuse, overthrowing countries, undermining genuine apostolic churches under Rome, burning alive the saints etc to make Rome remain supreme over the millennia.
...Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church." (Matt. 16:17-19). "There shall be one fold and one shepherd." (John 10:16). "Feed my lambs . . . feed my sheep." (John 21:15-17). The words "rock" and "shepherd" must apply to Peter, and they must distinguish him as the head Apostle...
One fold one shepherd.. Christ is THE good shepherd that lays down his life for his sheep.
Feed my sheep...look after my sheep... Go to my sheep...
Peter denied Christ three times, Jesus told Peter to go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel three times to parallel peters denial.
The true church is the house of Israel, when you come to faith you become an Israelite. The Roman church puts emphasis on the ecclesia, which is called replacement theory.
Peter was also called Satan by Jesus, under your argument your also attributing Peter to Satan!
Galatians 3:29
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 3:29 KJV
If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
Romans 11:17-21, 24-26 NIV
These verses show that the wild branch(gentiles) get grafted onto the natural root of Israel and talks about how if it was easy for God to prune the unfaithful Israel of the root how easy would it be to prune off the grafted branch(gentiles)
It then ends that when the fullness of the gentiles are grafted onto the Israelite root along with the natural branches then all of Israel will have been saved!
You can't refute any of my points using scripture.
Even though you hold an entirely different view to the biblical doctrine but have blind loyalty to the Pope.
Are you saying God is done with Israel?
Because he isn't. Countless times the old testament disagrees with you on that.
Even a verse I posted above shows you that you are wrong
Matthew 19:27
Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel
The scripture you cited above doesn't show Peters primacy. I have shown you that Peter is equal to the other disciples
Are you also saying the scriptures have been butchered and twisted?
What version do you use?
You say Peter was called shepherd and rock by Jesus, which I dispute and proven, but didn't Jesus also call Peter Satan?
Your argument is saying that Peter is satan.
I believe Peter is AN apostle, which is biblically sound doctrine.

Change my mind
Give me scripture that show the primacy of Peter over the other apostles.
Matthew 16:18
Did you even bother to read mine
In the koine Greek, Peter and rock are different words
Peter is not the rock
Peters asserted that Jesus is the son of God.
Jesus being the son of God is the rock of the church.
Not the pope!
.
Hear, hear!
This paragraph of yours is wrong is so many ways
...Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church." (Matt. 16:17-19). "There shall be one fold and one shepherd." (John 10:16). "Feed my lambs . . . feed my sheep." (John 21:15-17). The words "rock" and "shepherd" must apply to Peter, and they must distinguish him as the head Apostle...

Satan means adversary btw.
