Pretty interesting rabbit hole, and the fact that they shut it down this morning seems kinda sus, not surprising though considering it’s Reddit

If the vote shows more float than is possible, they will almost certainly attempt to recall their shares which would force a buyback of all shares on loan (covered shorts). Will that succeed? Unknown. According to this, it's not really up to GameStop. We shall see.
Elaborations?
I have 2 versions open on my desktop, no idea if these links will work, if not can someone please tell me how to archive ? Thanks, happy reading its very long & interesting.

Edit, links work for me.
I think the user was legit and reddit was doing what CCP-controlled reddit does.
Havent seen it and its no longer on that users profile
I did not see the original post(s) that instigated the investigation. I did look at the user, and did not see that user providing evidence of anything, but only making claims.
The protests that I've seen mostly seem to address that issue. That someone made claims, with vague hints at serious accusations, without evidence. Again, I didn't see the post in question. I am not making that as a statement of fact, but as an interpretation from the protests I did see.
I agree with their assessment that all posts of allegations of conspiracy should be strictly limited to those with supporting evidence. It keeps things clean and neat and reduces disinformation.
I think the person is legit, regardless of what they provide. He sounds like a pissed off ex-employee that disagreed with how things were being run due to all the corruption.
To me, the smear campaign against him/her is just as sketchy as the motives of those that want to smear the messenger themselves.
As I said, I didn't see the controversial posts in question, but a site like GME/Superstonk et al, where everyone is super focused on maintaining solidarity is no place to put forth stories of deeper collusion and criminal activity without evidence. Especially not put forth in a cryptic manner.
Such action IS a shill tactic to sow discord, even if this particular post was in earnest. And discord is exactly the result of said post, Putting two and two together and coming up with possibly intentional fuckery is not difficult. (Again, not saying it was.)
Even if it was a shill attack put forth as disinformation doesn't mean the information wasn't true. The truth can be just as powerful of a tool as a lie or half-truth to create discord in a population for nefarious purposes.
Evidence is the only way to tell a story in such an environment. Solidarity is key there. That is the necessary psychology to win.
