Maybe he is doing this to target NJ politicians and endorse alternatives.
Many wealthy residents go north for the summer. Also, many of the top-end clubs close their golf courses for refurb and major maintenance in the summer.
Until the man himself makes a statement on this, don't put too much stock in what the article says.
I think he is a target. And a moving target is more difficult to hit.
