Can't do any normal task without the process being reworked so stupidly it's impossible for real skilled people to troubleshoot. Whew I thought I was only person who noticed this. Android user but my work phone is an iPhone and it is extremely frustrating to navigate the simplest of tasks.
That they are ... I just find the premium they put on their stuff to be a turn off.
The thing that I hate about Apple, and this has nothing to do with the company, is the rabid, idiotic, zealot part of their fan base that would more than likely kill themselves if some fucking iDevice instructed them to do so.
I've seen morons that are proudly part of that cult report shit about some "new" iProduct features that will slay the competition despite said features being available on other products ... In some cases up to two or three years.
I remember one giddy cunt reported that Apple killed the entire need for a DVDROM drive (on any computer mind you ... Not just apple) by distributing software on USB sticks. Only reason I call her a cunt (one that should be in a kitchen and ironing shirts) is that she accused everyone of mysogony that was criticizing her in her comment section by pointing out how wrong she was about everything in her article. She dismissed it as "mansplaining".
I'm an engineer ... While I don't know everything about modern computer engineering, I know enough to make a very comfortable living off my skills. I can tell when a typical Apple cult zealot is writing anything about that company. Articles are loaded with errors and make no sense. They'll also throw in the obligatory "what smart people do you see that do not use Apple products?" and state that the demise of Windows and Linux draws closer due to some iFuckingnonsense rumored to be released.
That's not all Apple fans of course ... That's typically the liberal wing of their fan base :-) . Their products are certainly slick, but they seem to attract a lot of crazies missing something in their lives :-) .
Work in IT at a 99% Apple company, and there are a good deal of pros and cons. Video/graphics stuff with their hardware is great if you do your research and know how to maintain things properly .... most dont tho and refuse or can’t overcome the learning curve (unlearning curve?).
The new m1 stuff is smokin as wel btw and affordable .... but bang for buck a non-mac pc is unbeatable
So you are saying a $1780 Lenovo is better than the $250 laptop I bought recently? :)
