I've used that hold on enemy combatants before. Many of them. No deaths. The shin is supposed to go right over the shoulder blade, therefore NOT cutting off blood circulation to the brain. From what I can gather from Floyd's videos, this was the case. It wasn't a choke hold, illegal hold, or any other such nonsense. The knee looks like it was on his neck, but it wasn't. If Floyd was being choked to death, he wouldn't have been able to say a damn word.
This new video seems to show the same. Dude died (IF that's even true) of something else, NOT from a knee to the neck.
That submission move is completely harmless when performed correctly. Otherwise, it would be outlawed by DOD under the terms of the Geneva Convention and Nuremberg Codes.
