The statue of liberty scene at the end of the original POTA movie is one of the greatest plot reveals, twists, whatever the correct term is, in the history of movies! (the reveal at the end of "The Sixth Sense" was pretty good too :) ) Come to think of it, Charlton Heston was also part of another good "reveal" movie (not a great movie, but had a good "reveal") "Soylent Green".
