He turned off the comments because he’s an idiot. And because he must feel like he needs to moderate the comments (impossible to do). He’s too stupid to realize that YouTube has multiple factors in the platforms algorithm that will increase how wide they broadcast to new viewers. Views (all the way through), “Likes” up or down doesn’t matter, comments, this is actually bigger than people realize, “sharing/linking” and then far down the list is notifications.

About two months ago when he turned off the comments and deleted over half his videos there was a wave of people commenting and calling him out on some very suspect info he had claimed. I’d link to the videos but he deleted them. It was around the time he was claiming Trump was hiding out in Texas.
