As a parent I always thing about my kids and how they are doing so I took a look at this. A CDC link to some data and the 3500/yr mention and this is a recent report/video of 2011-2017 study that is informational This is a wiki, fwiw, of deaths by police I just think we should be having commercials/media that remind parents about the type of bedding to use and keep the sleeping environment safe. Not about when a cop gets in a tight spot and makes a split second decision where a high percentage that person is a felon/criminal. Sure bad cops should be busted, but let’s leave that up to the courts. I know I know. But 3,820 is a helluva lot less than 35,000 amirite? Let’s always think about the KIDS!

SIDS dropped off substantially. SIDS is listed as one of the side-effects for one of the infant vaccines, I believe the DTP vax. I have a friend whose three month old died from that vax. He started showing signs on the drive home from the doctor visit. My friend called the doctor when they got home and was told that a lot of babies have reactions to the vax, and to just keep an eye on him. He died the following day.
Here is the link that answers the question you asked, it shows the dramatic drop-off of SIDS in the first half of 2020. Scroll about halfway down the page to the section titled "Age Effect: Children"

Very eye-opening. Thanks for finding and sharing that.
