Its a makers mark, or claim of ownership.
I'm going to repeat Ephesians 6:10-18 to myself every day until it becomes second nature. I don't want to have to remind myself that I have already received Salvation. I will give my life to God, not because He says I will live forever if I Do, but because of what He has already done for me.
