I can't see these people commingling to live in harmony at any point. The powers that be, who brought them in, knew that very well. There will be blood.
Or Stalin. He purged the Soviet army of all the people who could actually organize and lead troops because he was paranoid of a counter-revolution.
Hitler knew this of course and it's why the Nazis almost made it past Moscow, Leningrad, and Stalingrad. It was lack of organization in the soviet army. Plenty of troops, nobody to lead.
How do you know that those are not the 20 willing to put themselves in harms way because they know that the currently active generals are secretly behind them
I wouldn't assume that as you don't k ownif the military listens to them Still. All those generals led thousands of men. Mentored junior officers etc. There is a tremendous amount of loyalty men give good leaders and warriors want more than anything to fight to defend their own lands.
And the US only has one retired General (Flynn) who has spoken up, but I somehow feel he speaks for thousands more who are quite active behind the scenes.
My only problem with this is they understate the threat. Deaths from the radical Islamist hordes will be in the tens or hundreds of thousands. Otherwise, bravo to the generals!
We controlled for the most part entire countries filled with Muslims. Thiusands of deaths maybe and that's the price for wat hing all this and never doing shit about it until almost too late.
"threatened to punish generals" Macron you fool, ask the Roman Emperors how good of an idea this is. Specifically Caligula and Nero.
It's almost like history repeats itself... people don't learn by studying it.
Yeah I was explaining to my girlfriend last night how we are eerily in the same place as Rome when the Gauls attacked.
Good analogy.
