Didymos Judas = "praised twin", or in some translations just "twin" x2, depending on translations from the Greek / Hebrew.
The sayings of Jesus himself are purportedly in the gospel of Thomas, which was written by "Didymos Judas Thomas" or in english "Thomas, the twin (who should be praised) " or just "his twin, Thomas".
Funnily enough a recent(ish) series of Red Dwarf actually delved into this to some degree, but looked at Judas being judas iscariot, not Didymos Judas Thomas.
Im going tonhave to do a dive into that gospel again now....
