Still can’t find anything on Lemons (2), or Clown the ride, or VW bugs the ride. But I also am away from my computer/on mobile so I haven’t been able to dig too much.
The fact they pushed this up from October with no heads up and the council approved it with only 24 hours notice, no permit, no usual paperwork should at least keep people on alert.
I wonder if Lemons means lemonade stands, as opposed to beer or coke stands. They also usually have different noshes, so if you want carmelcorn, it's at the lemonade stand. VW Bugs sound like a bumper car for kids. These carnivals attract families with little kids and youths who want to drink beer and show how they can take the more terrifying rides. The hours and attractions aren't much for the older crowd. The part that still bothers me the most is the free parking. That seems like an invite to the rowdier crowd, plus the arena parking company is usually pretty ruthless about collecting for every event.
