I was at my grandad's funeral yesterday and his ex-wife was talking about how her grandkids had kids and she couldn't see them except over facetime and she's missed out on all the milestones and she burst into tears.

They've taken a whole generation already and we're only a year in the scars of this will last for decades, even if it all ends tomorrow.
