Crazy! I live in a red state with a blue governor that the senate recently overroad the governors muzzle bullshit. However, I have a co-worker that lives in the county next to mine and he said he had to make an appointment just like you. I'm in a "red" county, his is "blue".

I'm going in to work today and brag to him how I just walked in and got my tags without fuss. :)
