I suspect that the Looking Glass Project, if indeed it exists, would allow white hats to see the outcomes of many timelines. It turns out the timeline where everything goes to shit in plain view is the best one.
Now one begins to wonder if some white hats influenced the writing of the last two Avengers films. Hopefully it doesn't take a whole 5 years for what Dr. Strange saw to come to fruition.
