A little more background - That whole clan is "interesting". 'Read a lot about them when the Duggars' tv shows were popular which was during and after one of Josh's incidents a few years ago. The following is based on RECOLLECTION.

The father (Josh's dad) has a business (automotive?) and is active in Arkansas politics.

The parents had 19 or more kids which they and their kids grifted into a tv (Discovery channel?) show and income stream.

Despite appearing mostly mainstream, aside from the many children, the clan holds ultra-conservative religious (to the point of being cultish?) and sexual views and exerts so much control over members (starting with them as babies), that it seems to result in highly individually- and sexually-repressed behaviors.

The parents/marrieds were able to be overtly sexually affectionate but the singles aren't supposed to think about sex or even look at anyone or anything that might lead their thoughts in that direction. A few examples:

1. The singles couldn't spend too much time in the shower, coudn't sleep under heavy covers or spend too much time anywhere (even in the bathroom) by themselves for fear that they might "touch themselves inappropriately", so each of them always had a "buddy" sibling with them to spy on them, enforce the rules and rat them out.
2. The singles could only use the Internet in the prrsence/oversight of another sibling, usually their "buddy", to prevent wrongthink surfing and postings.
3. If the males encountered a female who was too sexy, provactive or otherwise potentially lust-inducing, someone in the group would say, "Nike", and all eyes were supposed to avert to their shoes ("Nikes").
4. Courtship usually only involved potential spouses selected by the father, entailed a constant chaperone, allowed only limited "side hugs" (to prevent the possibility of the huggers' "certain body parts" touching) until they were engaged. After engagement, BRIEF "front hugs" would be allowed.
5. A couple's first kiss was almost always delayed/prohibited until after the minister pronounced them husband and wife.
6. Sex, sexual expression and sexual "release" were SO repressed for singles, yet so in-your-face by marrieds (who reproduced like rabbits), that many of the singles almost seemed like caged animals that couldn't wait to marry (and, FINALLY, kiss, touch and "boink") whomever was okayed as a potential mate by the father.
7. The girls were conditioned to submit to the husband's request for sex whenever he asked for it.

Regarding Josh -

1. Josh apparently "touched" a couple of his sisters when he was a pre-teen or teen and was sent to a (work?) camp for boys to deal with his sins and become a better Christian.
2. Josh had political aspirations
3. Josh's political activities frequently took him away from home, which was problematic for him because it "let him out of the cage" and gave him the freedom and opportunity to: 3a) frequent strip clubs, 3b) fraternize with one or more strippers/hookers, and 3c) create an Ashley Madison sex/hook-up account that got him involved in illicit sexual activity.
4. Josh's family and marital sexual indiscretions were known a few years ago but were minimized.
5. Josh's CP activities may be "new" news. (Why is it coming to light now?)

His goose is cooked. Moving on...

They say this stems from a 2019 raid....WHY was he not arrested THEN??? They allowed him to be free to be around children the past 2 years? Someone needs to EXPLAIN this.

Was this the same Duggar boy who molested his sisters when they were sleeping, or is this a different one?

Maybe he should have castrated himself after having a second child. He would have saved a lot of money and urges.
