I was at a Sam's Club and there were two young black men considering the jab.
The medical worker was assuring them it wouldn't be bad, but they were clearly very scared of getting a needle stuck in their arm.
The worker assured one to sit down and take it and he still looked very anxious.
I said "relax, it's just a moment of excruciating pain when they stick that needle into you, but only for a moment."
The kid jumped out of the chair, and there was nothing the worker could say to could ti change their minds. She was not happy with me.
Good for you but please stop using that derogatory term, "People of Color".
If it's "Politically Correct", it's a racist slur. No one asked anyone if they want to be labeled as such, they just went ahead and say, "Oh hey, it's now 'People of Color' or 'POC' and you have to adapt to it now, otherwise be labeled as a racist!"
I'm deaf myself and no one asked the deaf and hard of hearing community if they wanted to be labeled as "Hearing Impaired", which is the political correct term and we all said NO. We prefer "deaf" or "hard of hearing" for those with better hearing loss (yes I know that's an oxymoron) than the deaf.
"Hearing Impaired" implied that we're broken as a whole, when "deaf" implies we only have a hearing loss and nothing more.
POC is just another virtue signaling term that racists invented to show that they still can control the "colored people" with their words. (People of Color -> People Color -> Color People -> Colored People)
