They told me to wear my mask or go home. I told them to make it formal and terminate me. They sent me home and said HR will contact me. Before I was out of the parking lot the GM called and said HR will allow a medical exemption. I can't go back. They will nit pick until they can make a case for termination or push me until I leave. Working something less stressful out now.

Just did it at a post office in Austin, government bldg and employees....no one said a thing to me and I was the only one not wearing a mask, was inside for probably 10-15mins with 10-15 other folks...bet some of them left and do the same at their next stop...got to be an example and it’ll catch fire quickly
I'm in SoCal and have NEVER worn a mask except when flying, and I can absolutely say that the tide has turned, because now I get positive comments from people about not wearing a mask. Lately, on a daily basis I notice people remove their mask after seeing me without mine. It's like most people don't want to wear them, but nobody wants to be the first person on the dance floor... It only takes one person to enact change.
I can only shake my head and feel my eyes mist up as I jealously read your comment.
Was shat on by my manager today cause the two youngest teachers at my academy are scared of passing me in the hallway cause I don't wear a mask when going to the bathroom. Told her that they are grown ups, if the have a problem they can speak to me themselves. My health is more important to me than their insecurities.
Good for you!
Make Austin NORMAL again!
I live in a purple, open carry state. My 40 cal S&W sidearm identifies as my mask.
Make sure you do it again tomorrow and see!
