Article says that prions as a cause have been ruled out, but certainly neurological issues are related to the injections, and the article makes no mention of injections, which makes me suspicious they've left out a significant potential cause.
I first thought that these cases could be related to the mRNA shots when I read about this a few days ago due to the hypothesis floating around that Covid shots could lead to Creutzfeldt-Jakob like disease. However the first case goes back to 2015, and 11 more cases found in 2019 so this is not due to the Covid shots.
