My sister texted this to me, said our other sister sent it to her. I said it was funny but assumed it was fake unless someone could point me to some more info or my sister sends me a picture of her holding up the paper with the ad. Well, she said it was in the Warsaw Pennysaver April 25th 2021 edition. So with a bit of searching I found the flyer:

page 22. Here is a screen shot of just the ad:

Rock Construction in Corfu, NY hiring LABORERS Full-Time Please do not apply if you oversleep, have court often, do not have a babysitter everyday, have to get rides to work later than our work day begins, experience flat tires every week, have to hold on to a cell phone all day, or will become an expert at your job with no need to learn or take advice after the first day. Must be able to talk and work at the same time. Must also remember to come back to work after lunch. Should not expect to receive gold stars for being on time. If you qualify: Call or text 716-474-3348
Still not convinced this is authentic as I did see some post about Rock Construction no longer being in business. I also called both numbers I found for the company (not the one listed in the ad) and both numbers appear to be no longer in service.
Regardless of whether the company is still in business - it is still funny. It is also a very sad commentary on the state of the general labor pool. But, this situation is nothing new. Our labor force has been this way for a while - it has only gotten worse from where it was - and that was bad enough.
My mother used to own a restaurant in Northern CA back in the eighties and it was hard to find decent help even then. She worked 12 to 16 hours a day and went without pay many times just to make sure her employees had health insurance and were always paid on time. They were also allowed one meal a day at the restaurant during their shift. (She served pizza on one side and fine dining on the other.)
How did those employees reward her for giving them a job in an area that was already hard pressed for decent jobs? They robbed her of food from the kitchen and stole money out of the register - in full view of the security cameras. This occurred when they showed up for work. She also had a temp sue her on worker's comp for a scrape on the knee. Her boyfriend actually beat her up later that day and she fell down the stairs in a drunken/doped up state. Even though my mother was later able to prove that the temp's injuries did not result from her employment, my mother's worker's comp insurance rates went through the roof. Her employees literally drove her out of business along with the S&L scandal that put her construction loan into bankruptcy court.
My mother's faults were being too kind, trusting people, and trying to do the right thing. I am sure the good Lord will not kick her out because of it.
Out of business because of the type of employees described in the ad. Friggin' Biden!
