I'm a 70 year old Vet. Got screwed out of a Teamsters Pension. Hard to live on $1200 SS. Refuse to get Food Stamps. I took a job taking care of a wealthy Pot farmers personal property. (I quit smoking it) Pays me in Cash. Work 6 sometimes 7 days a week. 80 mile commute daily. Single and very lonely. The high light of my week is grocery shopping at 5 am. I am blessed to be in good health. I pray for those who are trying to raise a family and make ends meet. Sorry about whining. It gets at me from time to time. On top of that I have to under the dictatorship of Krazy Kate Brown in Oregon.
The best is yet to come. I do believe it. And vets should be first in line. Thank you for your service. God bless. o7 ???
Wow!! Thanks Frens. Made my evening
Thanks for your service!
I'm sorry both of you are having to manage all of that. I've no doubt you handle everything well, but no doubt it's hard. We're glad you're here!
Thank you for your service and God bless.
Yeah. You're blessed with health. My relative's in law just got diagnosed with spreading cancer and is in palliative care. Happened within months of getting the jab I think.
I am so sorry for your for the pain your in laws are dealing with. I think I'm the only one in the family that refuses to get poisoned. I lay in bed at night and think and pray for all those who got jabbed
Thank you. I'm also the only one in family who refused to get the jab. My family member gets lots of free food and also delivers it to others. Much of it would just go to waste if not taken. My goodness, at age 70, I would go easier on yourself....and if there are food stamps and free food, and jobs to boot,, then why not receive it. ALL with thanks. You've been working a long time and people your age deserve a break. People half your age are receiving care. You deserve all the care that you are eligible for plus more...anything that can make your life easier at your age is appropriate for you to receive. I hope you take everything you are eligible for so you can free up some time and meet new friends.
Thank you for your concern and kind words. I guess it's difficult for me to be on the receiving end of things. Much easier to be giving than receiving. May the Lord bless your evening.
