There was nothing barbaric about public hanging. In fact it was the peak mark of our civilization. Criminals had to make a decision to be a criminal or a law abiding citizen. Crime was a lifestyle, not just something you decided to do one day because you were poor.
Now, without fear of execution, criminals have nothing to fear except some jail time. And look how much more gruesome and violent they have gotten since. Then add to that those in the cabal. They don't fear dying because they've convinced all of us it's "uncivilized" when in reality, the death penalty is the most civilized punishment ever.
