I'm still not sure if Trump kept up the extremely irritating manner throughout his presidency just to piss off the leftists, so they would be so enraged as to blatantly cheat and easily get caught, or if he really was so stubborn as to take the advice I'm sure he received, to tone down at least a little. If he had shown some level of "maturing in office", I think his margin of victory would have been significantly larger, such that the cheating wouldn't have even made it close in the "swing states". But of course, we may never know, but hopefully the first option will be eventually revealed.
I agree that Trump woke up the establishment political class to how most voters feel, but I believe once in office, he could have acted a little more maturely and accomplished a lot more, and set himself up to get more votes in 2020, but maybe the plan was not to.
Clearly he has the capacity for restraint because he's been very quiet since this shitstorm started and he is staying as neutral as possible. His entire routine has been political judo, and they got used to dealing with Bull in a China Shop Trump, and he's let them over-react and fall into an un-tenible situation for them

Trump represents the people, who are pissed and disenfranchised by the gov as a whole. Politics has never been about governing, but about power.
