Thank you for that explanation. I love Néw Mexico and we were so disheartened to see such fear. The hotel restaurants still closed and insane fear. Frankly though it’s the young and really old white people that have been the crazies from our experiences so far. If one more pink or gray haired, tatted up, white chick tells me to put on a mask While walking down the sidewalk I may lose it!
We are maskless and and trying to educate but wow, it’s an uphill battle. I had a few on the hook when we were interrupted with “it’s the variants that are really scary!” Santa Fe and Albuquerque may be the 5-9% that are goners forever.
Yea, it’s big hippy crowd, rich limousine liberals and milk toast brainwashed Dems.
Don’t know where you are relocating from but for me coming for Texas it is the dark ages. But in all fairness Texas is the most open state in the country right now. Hopefully the rest will catch up very soon!

You're dealing with a different crowd up around Albuquerque and Santa Fe, that what is see in south east New Mexico and west Texas.
Sounds like you are seeing more of the old hippy crowd. You see those in the mountain areas down south too. kek
