The pet store where I shop has been hard core mask enforcement from the get-go. It’s odd because they are a small local mom & pop shop. Today I went in & was prepared for it to be my last visit if they were still holding out with the ridiculous mask mandate. When I walked up to the door maskless, I didn’t see the usual mask signs. They were all gone. I walked inside & looked around. No one was wearing a mask. Employees included. It was awesome! When I checked out I told the girl how happy I was that they had ditched the masks, and she said she was too.

My city has been getting rid of masks over the last month or two, and we are now practically back to normal. A couple of weeks ago the restaurants stopped requiring masks- including employees. Grocery stores have taken down their mask signs, though about half of the shoppers still wear them anyway. Nobody gives anyone a hard time either way. Feels good
