I saw one comment on Reddit say something to the effect of "Its because us liberals work, while conservatives stay home all day worshipping Trump and blaming liberals and black people for their problems instead of changing them".

Trump did the art of the deal and 100% made us the fun rebels who like to party and fight against "the man" (what the useful idiots saw themselves as), and the "liberals" ultra authoritarian bootlickers who blame people for getting sick and forces their authoritarian religion (what the covid cult is) on others.
