You probably can't answer this OP, but my own theory on the strange appearance changes is that all the CEOs and political figures use plastic surgery but don't understand the nuance that Hollywood does. Therefore they don't change things in moderation to sort of preserve their overall appearance but sort of get overworked in maybe one or two surgeries.

I know I know, everyone wants justice, but it is a plausible explanation.
