Is it normal for reporters on a news channel to solicit donations to an organization they themselves created while on air? This is what the reporter is doing at the end of this video. Seems kind of fishy to me. Anyone else?

It's not normal for them to disclose the relationship, but other than that part, I've seen it happen from time to time.
