Start with finding good research papers that actually proves climate change. But even before that find papers that gives a clear and consistent definition of climate change.
You will realise that most papers are fluff papers. Even a layman can figure this out just reading the abstracts.
If they claim climate change is real they need to provide scientific proof - the burden is on them
Patrick Moore knows more about the history of the Earth's climate (including CO2) than anyone I have come across.
