I don't get this either. If Trump wanted Lin to do something else or bigger, as some are suggesting, then why go through all this? What optics here are beneficial? The optics look horrible after Lin has been so supportive of Trump and then he endorses the other guy. Anybody else have a plausible theory? I'm truly perplexed on this one.
